Limited Too is making a comeback and set to launch July 12th! This beloved store was once known for its unique cotton candy scent and glittery accessories. They are returning this month to bring back all the nostalgia. I remember rocking the coolest purple wind suit from there. It was a place filled with glittery accessories and vibrant, trendy, clothes that made every visit one to remember.
Limited Too, was founded in 1987 as a subsidiary of The Limited. It quickly became a beloved destination for preteen girls. By the mid-2000s, it had grown to over 600 stores, offering a range of apparel, sleepwear, swimwear, and personal care products. However, in 2008, Tween Brands, the parent company, decided to rebrand most of the stores to Justice, aiming for a more affordable price point that appealed to both preteens and their parents.
The brand’s decline was said to be from too high of prices and the changing retail landscape. Yet, the spirit of Limited Too never truly faded. Since 2015, the brand has been owned by Bluestar Alliance and continues to sell select items online and through retailers like Walmart and Amazon.
As trends from the early 2000s resurface, there’s hope that Limited Too can capture the magic of its glory days. I’m still crossing my fingers for adult sizes, so we can all relive those fashionable moments.
Of course, us at Simply Sales will be watching for any deals from Limited Too and will post them in our group!
