Walmart Black Friday 2026 is officially on the calendar, and it’s not one sale. It’s three. There’s an early event in mid November, the main Black Friday week, and then Cyber Monday. The actual deal lists haven’t dropped yet, so this is your game plan for now. I’ll update it the second the ad is out.

Walmart Black Friday 2026 Dates

Walmart Black Friday 2026 dates

Here’s everything Walmart has confirmed so far. All online times are Eastern.

EventOnlineIn stores
Early Black Friday DealsNov 12 to 15, starts 12:01am ETOpens at 6am local time
Black Friday DealsNov 23 to 29, starts 12:01am ETFriday, Nov 27 at 6am local time
Cyber MondayNov 30 to Dec 2, starts 12:01am ETOnline only

The big thing to notice: the main Black Friday sale starts online on Monday, November 23, four days before the in-store doors open on Black Friday itself. If you’re shopping online, you don’t have to wait for Friday.

How Walmart+ Early Access Works

Shopping Black Friday deals

This year Walmart is doing “hot Deal drops,” and Walmart+ members get first dibs on them.

  • Early Black Friday: Walmart+ members can shop the hot Deal drops at 12:01am ET on Nov 12. Everyone else gets in at 12:01am ET on Nov 13.
  • Black Friday: Walmart+ members get the hot Deal drops at 12:01am ET on Nov 23. Everyone else gets in at 12:01am ET on Nov 24.
  • Walmart also says select online-only deals are saved for Walmart+ members for the first 24 hours of each event, while supplies last.

That’s a full day head start, which is a lot more than last year’s five hours. If there’s a hot toy or a TV you really want, that day can be the difference between getting it and seeing “out of stock.”

You don’t need Walmart+ to shop the sale at all. Everything opens up to everyone a day later. But if you’re on the fence, now’s a good time to try it, and you can cancel after the holidays if it’s not for you.

One more thing: Walmart is also offering a Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus bundle for $120 a year. If you already shop both stores, that’s worth a look.

What to Expect From Walmart Black Friday

Walmart hasn’t released the 2026 deal list yet. What they have said is to expect thousands of gifts under $20, plus fashion, beauty and home deals. They’ve also already put out a Top Toys list with 25 toys under $25.

To give you an idea of the kind of prices to watch for, here’s what Walmart advertised for Black Friday last year (2025). These are last year’s deals, not this year’s, but they show what each category tends to look like:

  • TVs: an 85″ TCL 4K Roku TV for $498
  • Beauty: the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer for $259.99 (down from $419.99)
  • Outdoor: a Blackstone 28″ griddle with hood for $157
  • Kitchen: a Carote 15-piece cookware set for $53.99 (down from $199.99)
  • Gaming: PlayStation controllers for $54
  • Clothing: Wrangler men’s jeans for $13

Big TVs, kitchen sets, name-brand beauty tools and toys are the categories that always go fast. If something on your list falls into one of those, plan to shop the minute your access opens.

My Walmart Black Friday Game Plan

Baby riding in a Walmart shopping cart
  1. Make your list now. Add the things you want to your Walmart cart or a list ahead of time, so you’re not searching at midnight.
  2. Set alarms for 12:01am ET. Nov 12 for the early event, and Nov 23 for the main sale (or Nov 13 and Nov 24 if you’re not a Walmart+ member).
  3. Shop online first. The online sale starts days before the store sale, so you can skip the Black Friday crowds completely for most things.
  4. Don’t panic buy in the early event. Some things will come back cheaper during the main Black Friday week. If it’s not a hot item, it’s okay to wait.
  5. Check Cyber Monday too. Walmart runs it Nov 30 to Dec 2, online only, so you get one more shot at anything you missed.

We’ll be posting the best Walmart deals in our Facebook group as soon as they go live, so you don’t have to dig through the whole site. If you want to compare stores, our Black Friday 2026 guide, Costco Black Friday and Sam’s Club Black Friday posts are all up.

I put together a list of 20 things worth grabbing at Walmart right now, from the Ninja Crispi and AirPods 4 to LEGO, the Barbie DreamHouse and a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle. When the doorbusters go live on Nov 12, I’ll add them to the same list, so save the link.
