3. Buy it before the deadline in that email. You only pay if you’re picked, and you have to finish checkout in time or you lose your spot.
4. Entering is free. There is no charge to enter and no card required up front. You only pay if you are selected and choose to complete the purchase.

Entries are picked at random, so getting in early does not improve your odds — it just means you do not forget. Check Target’s own listing for the return policy before you buy.
