OXFORD, Mich. — An Oxford, Michigan mom is taking years of experience helping families save money and turning it into a new way to shop.
Sarah, co-founder of Simply Sales with Alyssa & Sarah, developed Simply Picks, a free deal-finding app and website designed to help busy shoppers quickly find hand-picked sales, promo codes, freebies and price drops from popular retailers.
The idea grew from Simply Sales with Alyssa & Sarah, the deal-sharing community Sarah and her sister, Alyssa, have built together since 2019, now reaching more than 76,000 shoppers.
After years of finding and sharing deals online, Sarah saw an opportunity to create something specifically for the way their community shops.
“I wanted to create a place that made finding a great deal feel simple again,” said Sarah. “There are so many sales, promo codes and products online that it can be overwhelming. With Simply Picks, the goal is to bring the best finds together in one place and have real people behind what’s being shared.”
For Sarah, developing Simply Picks meant taking what she and Alyssa had learned from years of running Simply Sales and turning those lessons into an entirely new platform.
Simply Picks combines technology with the human element that has always been at the center of Simply Sales.
Rather than simply filling the platform with automatically generated offers, the Simply Picks team focuses on hand-picked deals that real people believe are worth sharing.
Shoppers can find deals across home, fashion, beauty, kids, baby, toys, kitchen, tech and more, with new finds added throughout the day.
For Sarah, who is raising her family in Oxford, the project is also an example of what can grow from a locally built small business.

Simply Picks has launched a paid Creator Program for creators interested in making short-form content about the app.
Creators can earn a base payment for approved content plus additional compensation for qualifying app downloads generated through their unique creator code.
And creators don’t need a massive social media following to apply.
Simply Picks says there is no follower minimum, with an emphasis on authentic content and genuine engagement rather than audience size alone.
